To the extent permitted by applicable law, any judicial proceeding arising solely from the Website or these Terms shall be brought in a state or federal court of competent jurisdiction located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.

This provision does not govern disputes arising from an attorney-client relationship where an engagement agreement, applicable professional rule, court rule, statute, or other law provides otherwise.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable where permitted, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

No Waiver

A failure by Williford Law to enforce any provision of these Terms on one occasion does not constitute a waiver of that provision or of the firm's right to enforce it on another occasion.

Relationship to Other Agreements

These Terms govern use of the Website only. Nothing in these Terms modifies, supersedes, or replaces an engagement agreement, fee agreement, settlement agreement, confidentiality agreement, or other written agreement entered into between Williford Law and another person or entity.

If an attorney-client relationship exists, the rights and obligations associated with the legal representation are governed by the applicable engagement agreement, professional obligations, and law, rather than by these Website Terms of Use.

Changes to These Terms

Williford Law may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Website, the firm's practices, technology, applicable law, or other circumstances. The current version of the Terms will be posted on the Website with its effective date. Unless otherwise stated or required by applicable law, revised Terms become effective when posted.
